Not only browser-server communication, but page rendering, JavaScript parsing, DOM manipulations, memory leaking and so on. He also mentions whole lot of tools for development and profiling.

A bit too cheesy marketing speech, but it introduces new technology and apparently MySpace and Google are behind it and all the huge crowd of other social networks like Ning, LinkedIn and SalesForce as well as application developers like Flixster, Slide and iLike.
