OpenSocial

A bit too cheesy marketing speech, but it introduces new technology and apparently MySpace and Google are behind it and all the huge crowd of other social networks like Ning, LinkedIn and SalesForce as well as application developers like Flixster, Slide and iLike.

Opening the Social Graph

If you want to follow emerging technologies, you must take a look at presentation by Brad Fitzpatrick and David Recordon about opening social graph. These guys did make OpenID a reality, I hope they’ll succeed in adding more openness to user’s social data.
