I was looking for info about next year’s CES and found a list of all future events till … 2015!

That’s what I call planning ;) Obviously, I immediately entered them all: CES 2009, CES 2010, CES 2011, CES 2012, CES 2013, CES 2014, CES 2015.

P.S. I also added sharing widget from AddThis.com (at the top right corner of each page). Go ahead and share stuff with others ;)

David Recordon made a good overview of problems and emerging technologies for open and distributed social networking from identity (OpenID, OAuth) to data interchange formats (XFN).

Thanks to Alex Moskalyuk who posted a link to DEFCON 15 videos - first presentation video (with attack demo and presentation slides) is about attacking web applications that are used in US banking systems. Presented by Brendan O’Connor.

It’s ridiculous how bank’s security specialists are not familiar with web technologies. Brendan makes a good point - let consumer share the cost of hardware tockens, if it means better security, people will use them. Stop marginalizing the business that is about people’s money.

Update: Actual videos were posted by Carsten Cumbrowski AKA Roy/SAC. Here’s his blog entry.

I’ve created Wiki for the project and will be publishing all the stuff there. I’ll probably keep posting my favorite presentations here as well - anyway I’ll figure out how to create a blog or at least a feed of new presentations.

Feel free to publish your presentations or presentations you like into Wiki.

I’ll also appreciate any help on moving current archive into it as well.

Feel free to ask any questions and discuss the project on the community portal discussion page.
